Access to Justice: Community Legal Services in WA

Our new Advocacy Report, Access to Justice: Community Legal Services showcases examples of the innovation, impact and range of community legal services delivered across Western Australia. Community legal services provide specialist services to vulnerable people with complex problems, as well as helping people solve simple legal issues, before they get worse. Based in the community, we understand and can respond to local need. We are trauma-informed, providing services that put people at the centre and support safety and recovery.

With a strong culture of collaboration, our services are integrated, allowing us to work with partners to provide
wraparound support for people, across the state. Our services provide great value for investment; by solving people’s legal problems and helping to address broader community needs, reducing pressure on courts and justice services.
As a social justice movement of independent community organisations, we stand up together for fairer laws, people’s rights and access to justice in WA. Download the report to read more.
