At Community Legal Western Australia (CLWA) we believe privacy is an important right for all people and we are committed to protecting your privacy.

We follow and comply with the Privacy Act 1988, which is a law that applies across Australia.

We collect some personal information about people who interact with CLWA including visitors to our website, staff, members and others. Examples of the information we might collect include your name and contact details, so that we can communicate with you about what you need.

In very limited circumstances, you may also provide sensitive information for the purposes of our work together. This will only be collected with your specific permission and is collected on a voluntary basis.

We will look after your information and take steps to protect it in a secure manner or destroy it once it is no longer needed.

We will never sell your personal information to anyone, ever. You can un-subscribe from any communications at any time.

You can have access to your personal information, at your request. We may ask you for proof of your identity and you can also correct any personal information that we may have.
