Accreditation
The National Accreditation Scheme (NAS) is a sector-led initiative and is designed to recognise and support good practice in the governance and operations of community legal services. It uses a national accreditation compliance and certification process for centres. Community Legal WA works with our colleagues in other states and territories and the national peak body to deliver the scheme.
The NAS has a dual purpose: to ensure clients and funders know that community legal services meet good practice and industry standards; and to create a capacity building framework so services can keep improving.
Access to the NAS is open to full members of Community Legal WA or the other state and territory peak bodies.
