Legal Assistance

We provide free legal help with:

• family violence restraining orders
• assisting victims-survivors of family violence and/or sexual assault
• protecting your children
• victim’s compensation
• tenancy support
• family law (where it relates to family violence)
• court support
• National Redress for Child Sexual Abuse applications
• Criminal injuries compensation

Counselling

We offer free counselling:

• family violence and/or sexual assault counselling or referral
• crisis counselling and support
• short, medium and long term counselling
• support to children who have experienced, witnessed or are living with family violence

Community Legal Education

Providing:

• legal education
• referral to other services
• advocacy
• education to build community strength and awareness of family violence
