There are no costs associated with this service.

Eligibility

  • People located in the City of Swan, Shires of Mundaring and Kalamunda, Towns of Bassendean and Bayswater
  • Tenants, boarders, lodgers or people living in a long stay caravan park
  • People with disability for disability advocacy service
  • People who have experienced family violence
  • People who are in the northeast and hills area, this includes 
    • City of Swan, Shire of Mundaring and Kalamunda, Town of Bassendean, City of Bayswater etc.

Legal Services: 

  • Family law: 
    • Property issues 
    • Children’s matters
    • Family Violence
    • Divorce
  • Criminal injuries compensation
  • Assistance with restraining orders
  • Duty lawyer service at the Midland Magistrates Court for VRO/FVRO applicants
  • Community Legal Education 
  • Wills and Future Planning for older people (First Nations 55 years and older, non-First Nations 65 years and older) – Wills, Enduring Power of Attorney, Enduring Power of Guardianship, State Administrative Tribunal applications, financial assistance information relating to concession and benefits
  • Financial Services:
    • Financial Counselling from Ellenbrook and Midland sites
    • Financial Coaching and Capability – individual coaching and community education workshops
    • Work and Development Permit Scheme – financial literacy webinar series
  • Tenancy Advocacy – including duty advocacy at the Midlas Magistrates Court and walk-in clinics
  • Disability Advocacy Services:
    • Individual Advocacy Support – providing individual advocacy, guidance and support for people with disability, their carers and families
    • NDIS Appeals Advocacy Support – supporting people through the dispute resolution process with the Administrative Appeals Tribunal following an unsuccessful NDIS internal review

Midland: 9:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday to Friday

Ellenbrook:  9:00 am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday

No walk ins except on Friday mornings 9:30am – 12pm for tenancy matters

Mobile services available for people with travel limitations and those experiencing homelessness.
